Returns & Exchanges

At Chuupul Leather, every piece is handcrafted in small batches using full-grain leather selected for its character, durability, and ability to age beautifully over time.

Because our products are made in limited quantities and each leather hide is naturally unique, we encourage customers to review all product descriptions, measurements, and photographs carefully before placing an order.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Ordering the wrong item
  • Personal preference
  • Size or fit expectations
  • Preference for a different leather hide, grain, color variation, or natural markings
  • Ordering multiple items with the intention of returning some
  • Minor differences from product photographs due to the natural characteristics of leather

If your item arrives damaged in transit, contains a manufacturing defect, or you receive the wrong item, we’ll make it right.

Approved Returns

Approved returns are eligible for store credit only, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Returned merchandise must:

  • Be returned within 21 days of delivery
  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Include the original box, dust cover, tags, and accessories
  • Be free of odors, stains, scratches, alterations, stretching, or signs of wear

Every return is inspected upon arrival before store credit is issued.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Approval of a return request does not guarantee acceptance. All returned merchandise is subject to inspection upon receipt.

Non-Returnable Items

The following purchases are considered final sale:

  • Pre-orders once production has begun
  • Archive Collection pieces
  • Attic Collection pieces
  • One-of-one releases
  • Limited-edition releases
  • Personalized or monogrammed items
  • Custom-made products
  • Festival and event purchases
  • Discounted or clearance merchandise
  • Gift cards

Pre-Order Policy

Placing a pre-order reserves production time and materials specifically for your order.

Pre-orders may be canceled for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.

After 24 hours, materials and production scheduling begin. At that point, pre-orders become final and cannot be canceled due to:

  • Change of mind
  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Personal preference
  • Delays within the stated production timeframe

Estimated production dates are provided as good-faith estimates and may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of our products.

Natural Leather

Full-grain leather is a natural material. No two hides are alike.

Natural variations including grain patterns, scars, healed scratches, wrinkles, insect bites, brands, color variation, and the development of patina are characteristics of genuine leather—not defects.

Product photographs are representative. Because every hide is unique and every item is handcrafted, the product you receive will naturally vary slightly from the photographs shown.

These natural characteristics are part of what make every Chuupul Leather piece one of a kind.

Manufacturing Defects

We proudly stand behind our craftsmanship.

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Approved warranty claims may be repaired, replaced, exchanged, or issued store credit at Chuupul Leather’s sole discretion.

Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, neglect, improper care, or natural leather characteristics are not considered manufacturing defects.

Shipping & Delivery

Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery.

If your shipment arrives damaged during transit or you receive the wrong item, notify us within 3 days of delivery.

Once a shipment has been marked Delivered by the shipping carrier, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the recipient.

Customers are responsible for providing a secure delivery location.

Chuupul Leather is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, damaged by weather, or otherwise affected after confirmed delivery by the carrier.

Return Authorization

To request an approved return, please email hello@chuupul.com within 21 days of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs when applicable

If your request is approved, return instructions and the appropriate return address will be provided.

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
