Returns & Exchanges
At Chuupul Leather, every piece is handcrafted in small batches using full-grain leather selected for its character, durability, and ability to age beautifully over time.
Because many of our collections are produced in limited quantities, we encourage customers to review dimensions, photographs, and product details carefully before placing an order. If you have questions before purchasing, we’re always happy to help.
21-Day Inspection Period
We understand that purchasing leather goods online requires trust.
If your purchase is not the right fit, eligible items may be returned within 21 days of delivery for store credit.
Store credit never expires and may be used toward any future Chuupul Leather purchase.
Eligible Returns
To qualify for store credit, returned merchandise must:
- Be returned within 21 days of delivery
- Be unused and in original condition
- Include original packaging, dust cover, tags, and accessories
- Be free of odors, stains, alterations, or signs of wear
Returns are inspected upon arrival before store credit is issued.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or incorrect.
Non-Returnable Items
The following purchases are final sale:
- Pre-orders once production has begun
- Archive and Attic collections
- One-of-one and limited-edition releases
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Event and festival purchases
- Discounted, promotional, or clearance merchandise
- Gift cards
Used Merchandise
The 21-day period is intended to allow customers time to inspect their purchase, not use it.
Items showing signs of wear, use, damage, alteration, stretching, patina development from use, odors, or missing components may be refused and returned to the customer.
Approval of a return request does not guarantee acceptance. All returned merchandise is subject to inspection upon receipt.
Defects & Craftsmanship
We stand behind our work.
If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Approved defects may be repaired, replaced, or exchanged at our discretion.
Please note that natural markings, scars, grain variation, color variation, and the development of patina are characteristics of full-grain leather and are not considered defects.
Return Authorization
To begin a return, please contact hello@chuupul.com within 21 days of delivery.
Approved returns will receive return instructions and the appropriate return address.
Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
