Not every hide is perfect. That’s exactly why we chose it.
Palomino begins with full-grain vegetable-tanned leather that many manufacturers would reject—hides marked by stretch lines, healed scars, natural wrinkles, color variation, and the occasional cattle brand. To some, these are imperfections.
To us, they are character.
Rather than hiding these marks, we build around them. The signature hand-tooled detailing of the Palomino is designed to complement the natural story already written into the leather—camouflaging some details, highlighting others, and transforming what might be overlooked into something worth carrying.
No two Palomino bags are ever exactly alike.
Each one carries a history before it ever reaches your hands.
THE LEATHER
The leather used for Palomino is selected for its strength, authenticity, and character—not uniformity.
You may notice:
• Natural stretch marks
• Healed scratches and scars
• Color variation throughout the hide
• Wrinkles and grain variation
• Occasional cattle brands or ranch markings
These are natural characteristics of full-grain leather and should be expected. They are not defects.
They are proof that your bag came from a real hide and not a factory-produced material designed to look perfect.

Over time, Palomino will darken, soften, and develop a rich patina unique to you.

Shipping Policy
At Chuupul Leather, every piece is carefully prepared, inspected, and packaged before shipment. Because many of our products are handcrafted in small batches, processing times may vary slightly during periods of high demand.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday only. We do not process or ship orders on weekends or U.S. holidays.
Once your order has been prepared for shipment, you will receive a tracking confirmation email.
Shipping Schedule
Orders are generally shipped on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
While we make every effort to maintain this schedule, shipment dates may occasionally be adjusted due to severe weather, holidays, carrier disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.
Complimentary U.S. Shipping
Complimentary shipping is available on U.S. orders of $250 or more.
Orders qualifying for complimentary shipping will be shipped using the carrier and service level selected by Chuupul Leather.
Delivery Estimates
Shipping transit times provided by carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Once a package leaves our studio, delivery timing is determined by the shipping carrier and is outside the control of Chuupul Leather.
Tracking & Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.
Customers are encouraged to monitor tracking information and make arrangements for the secure receipt of their package.
Delivered Packages
Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient.
Chuupul Leather is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, misplaced, or damaged after confirmed delivery.
If a delivery issue occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in opening a claim with the shipping carrier when appropriate.
Pre-Orders
Estimated delivery dates provided for pre-orders are offered in good faith based on current production schedules.
Because Chuupul products are produced in small batches, delivery timelines may occasionally be affected by material availability, weather conditions, shipping delays, production schedules, or circumstances beyond our control.
Should a significant delay occur, customers will be notified as soon as possible.
Weather & Carrier Delays
Severe weather, natural disasters, flooding, hurricanes, carrier disruptions, labor interruptions, and other circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect processing and delivery times.

In-stock pieces ship within 2–3 business days.
You’ll receive tracking as soon as your order is scanned.
Limited drops and small-batch releases are fulfilled in the order received.
We don’t mass produce. We move intentionally.

We offer a 21-day return window from the date your order is delivered.
Items must be:
• Unused
• In original condition
• With original packaging

What makes Chuupul leather different?
We use full-grain and premium leathers selected for structure, character, and longevity.

Will the leather scratch or change color?
Yes — and that’s part of its beauty.
Full-grain and wax pull-up leathers naturally develop character. Minor scuffs can often be gently rubbed out by hand.
Over time, the leather deepens in tone and softens, becoming uniquely yours.
This is not fast fashion.
It’s built to age well.
How do I care for my leather bag?
Keep it simple:
• Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain
• Store in a dust bag when not in use
• Condition lightly 1–2 times per year
• Avoid overstuffing to maintain structure
